Genie Cartier was at City Lights one day with her lovely friend, Emilio Aldrich, when she suddenly turned to him and said "Let's make our OWN literary journal and sell it at City Lights!" While sadly Emilio went back to LA to pursue his dream of becoming a famous director, he did help Genie with the initial creation of the journal, his most awesome contribution being the name "autolycus," which is the name of a clowny thief in Shakespeare's "Winter's Tale." Genie realized her ambition of selling the journal at City Lights, and hopes that the small publication will one day be a collector's item, since at least one of the amazing contributors is bound to be a famous author one day.
